Accumulated density: Accumulated density is also known as bulk density. Represents the mass of a unit volume item in its natural state. Generally speaking, aluminum oxide with low cumulative density has a fast dissolution rate of electrolytes.


Wear index: The wear index is also a strength indicator of alumina, and the lower the wear index, the greater the strength of alumina.


A-Al203 content: The degree of roasting of alumina is related to the content of Al2O3 in the finished alumina. The higher the content of Al2O3, the more sufficient the roasting is- A high content of Al2O3 will reduce the hygroscopicity of alumina, but the solubility of ALA-AL2O3 in electrolytes is worse than that of LON-A203.


Particle size: The particle size represents the thickness of alumina particles. If the particle size is too coarse, it will slow down the dissolution rate of alumina in the electrolyte, and even precipitate. If the particle size is too fine, it will fly in and cause losses.

Aluminum oxide can be found in many fields such as electronics, petroleum, chemicals, refractory materials, ceramics, plastics, textiles, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, etc. Generally, it is aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide with special properties. But now more than 90% of aluminum oxide is used as a raw material for electrolytic smelting of aluminum.
